Why I Built Eolas Nua

Hey, I’m Eimhin 👋

I’m an 18 year old app developer and I sat my Leaving Cert last year and missed out on my dream course in UCD by one point. After spending way too long doom scrolling and thinking “what if I’d just spent one less hour on TikTok...”, I decided to actually do something about it and built Eolas Nua for you guys :)

This app has been a passion project of mine and honestly a way of proving myself after that gutting result. I’ve spent countless hours and a little more money than I’m comfortable with 😅 bringing this idea to life.

Here’s the thing. I’m not a big company, it’s just me. So if you use Eolas Nua, you’re genuinely supporting one person and their dream, and that really does mean a lot 🙏

When I’m not coding you’ll find me playing football, spending time with my dogs 🐶, or travelling all over Europe and beyond!
